Teaching “Coding Dynamic Experiences” June 2015

I will be teaching “Coding Dynamic Experiences” through the MassArt Continuing Education department this Summer 2015. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6—9pm running June 2nd through July 9th 2015. Course Description

Learn how to articulate and communicate your ideas through the medium of software code. Explore the landscape of dynamic media, integrating sound, video and animation, using the popular creative programming language called Processing. Through lectures, workshops, in-class pair-programming, coding games and exercise, gain the competency & confidence to use software as an expressive medium for your future projects. Topics include culture & technology, social networks, design as social practice, data visualization and topics of student interest. No programming experience required. Class is not open to current DMI students.
